I want to convert a large chlorinated swimming pool into a pool for fish. Will ammonia work?
I've heard that ammonia will neutralize the chlorine, and I think that's what people use to treat tap water for fishtanks. But are there other chemicals in swimming pool water? Also, how much ammonia (or whatever chemical) do I need to use? The type of fish doesn't matter--it can be any species. I just don't want them to die.
