Swimming pool?

July 17, 2010 · Posted in FAQs

We have an above ground pool and we have it installed, and when we go to backwash, there is no hose, so it shoots out the side of the pump. We live in a small neighborhood and the houses are close together.
Do you have any suggestions on how we could safely backwash without hurting our property, or the property of those around us.
I dont have enough yard to let it just backwash from a hose into the yard. I live in the middle of the city in a "tight" fitted neighborhood.
I couldnt just let it backwash without ruining someone's property

You should go to a Super store or pool store & purchase a blue flexable vinyl backwash hose.
It is OK to use around the yard to water plants, if your chemical levels test out as normal.
City water usually tests out same as pool water.
