Hydrotherapy In Your Bestway Swimming Pool

Inflatable outdoor swimming pools can be a great addition to your house. Not only do they add value to your house but at the same time they can serve as great places to exercise. Yes! Swimming is an excellent exercise and the inflatable outdoor swimming pools are a great excuse to start exercising all over again. So buy a bestway swimming pool and start exercising all at once. In this article we will tell you the benefits of bestway swimming pool and also why you should exercise…

We know how important is exercising. Regular exercise keeps your heart going, your weight in control and your belly flat. It helps you feel good and able to cope with the daily stress. But, often exercising becomes a monotonous chore - be it is jogging, or going to the gym, we might often feel demotivated while exercising . Exercising in your own pool is fun, it keeps you cool – you don't sweat, and you can do it even if you feel pain in joints, on in the back, which happens more often as you are getting older.

Hydrotherapy or water aerobics are particularly important for people with arthritis or other types of joint problems. Water exercises keep joints moving, restore their flexibility and strengthen muscles. As we age, exercising becomes more difficult, but the buoyancy of water makes it safe and easy to exercise. This is because water supports the body weight and relieves pressure on painful joints and muscles.

Water exercising is safer and more comfortable for pregnant women, overweight people and people who suffered bone or muscle injury, because the weight is partially supported and the movements are slowed down. There is thus much less chance of overextending. The secret of the benefits of water exercising is in the resistance power of water. You can work opposing muscles at the same time. For example, if you are doing curls underwater, pulling up will work the biceps, and pushing down will develop triceps. Water aerobics exercise every muscle and every joint in the body all at the same time. Water aerobics is particularly an attractive way to exercise in the water because it is suitable for anyone, regardless of their age and physical shape and fitness.

So, now that you installed your inflatable Bestway swimming pool, your family has a great excuse to exercise; at the same time the pool serves as a great place for gathering with family and friends. So this indeed is a wise investment. The swimming pool allows you to exercise and stay in shape. At the same time it allows you to gather with your friends and family and spend quality time with them. It also marks as an area where you can arrange innovative pool parties. All these and much more you achieve just by buying a swimming pool – so think no further. Go ahead and buy one now!

How do you change an overlap pool liner for an above ground swimming pool?

A guide to installing a replacement overlap pool liner in a level-bottom above ground swimming pool. While there are several methods that can be attempted, this seems to be the easiest and least-risk method. We also have a couple of pre-job tips. Screws in top-rails and plates may be rusty. Have a can of WD-40 on hand to loosen them up. Also, wasps LOVE to hide under top rails. Cautiously eliminate the wasps with your favorite wasp spray.

Only install flat bottom pool liners in sunny, 75 degree plus, weather. Only install dished or expandable pool liners in sunny, 85 degree plus weather. Only fill pools during daytime hours. Check your overlap pool liner and pool frequently as pool fills with water. Completely inspect the pool liner before starting installation. Once you start to install it, you own it, including all defects.

Drain your old pool. Remember that once the water is gone, your pool is susceptible to high winds. If your pool is into the ground more than a few inches, stay away from the pool as much as possible so that you do not cave in the dirt and push the wall in.

Without removing any rails, cut the old pool liner out. There will be a thin strip of pool liner left at the top of the wall extending over the top of the wall. This will be removed at a later point.

Address the bottom of the pool. Remove any roots, rocks, or sharp objects that could puncture the new pool liner. Put down new replacement sand or vermiculite if needed. Make sure the cove around the inside of the pool wall is firm, stable, and in good condition. If it has compressed or washed out over the years, re-build. Most manufacturers recommend a six inch high cove.

Make sure skimmer and return holes are in good shape. Any areas of rust should be gently sanded and painted with a specialty rust preventative. Make sure the sanded residue does not mix into the ground inside the pool.

Carefully open the new pool liner box. DO NOT USE A KNIFE OR OTHER SHARP OBJECT!! Be sure the pool liner is the proper size to fit your pool. There are no returns for a pool liner if the box has been opened. If possible, unfold the pool liner in your yard. Make sure there is nothing there that would puncture it. If necessary, you may unfold the liner inside the pool. Once unfolded, roll the pool liner length-ways, and then fold it in half. With help, carefully lift the liner over the wall and place it inside the pool.

Remove shoes and make sure your toenails and fingernails are well trimmed.

With one other person inside the pool, unroll the liner and position into place. Use the seam that connects the pool liner's sidewall and bottom as a guide, keeping the seam equal distance from the wall. There may be a little variation if the pool is slightly out of shape. Most pools are slightly out of shape. But remember that once you put a lot of water on the pool liner, it is not going to move.

Smooth the overlap pool liner out as much as possible.

Remove any three consecutive sections of top-rail and then the coping and old liner remnants.

Using the old plastic coping or spring-style clothespins, put the liner over the wall a few inches and secure. Do not worry if the sides of the liner are loose. Be careful not to snag the liner on the edges of the top rails.

Skip a few sections and repeat step number 10. Continue until the liner is over the wall throughout the entire pool. Some top rails will still be on the pool and the liner will not be over the wall at these points. This is okay. If you like, you may place a protective layer of duct tape over the edges of the top rails that are still remaining on the pool.

Gently smooth the liner out to minimize wrinkles, and then begin running water SLOWLY.

As the water is added, with your bare feet and hands, gently scoot the liner wrinkles out, working in a straight line from the center to the edges. A little practice will make you an expert. If the water is coming in so fast that the liner becomes difficult to move, shut the water off. Remember that in a 24' diameter pool, an inch of water weighs more than one ton!

As needed, take excess liner over the wall.

When there is six inches of water in the pool, the liner is ready to be put in its final position on the sidewalls. Gently place your foot at the bottom to hold the liner in place, and then pull any excess liner over the wall. Use the plastic coping to secure the liner into its final position. Continue around the pool, removing rails that are still on the pool. If you have wrinkles in the side, work them out now, as they will be permanent if you do not. In some cases where the pool is not perfectly round or oval, you will not be able to avoid wrinkles in the sidewall. If your pool has a metal stabilizer bar, place this over the coping as you complete positioning of the liner. As you move around the pool, replace top rails on the pool. Complete the entire pool.

When the water level has risen to just below the skimmer and return you will now bolt on the skimmer and return. Do NOT cut the skimmer liner hole until the skimmer is attached. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you replace skimmer and return gaskets before placing the skimmer and return back on the pool. Once the entire assembly is attached, VERY CAREFULLY cut the liner out INSIDE the faceplate. Use a very sharp pocketknife or razor knife. As for the return, you may need to cut out the liner BEFORE attaching the return. If so, carefully cut out the liner with a sharp pocketknife or razor knife. Take your time and keep the cut round. If your cut is too big to be covered by the return gasket, the pool will leak.

Continue to fill and check for leaks at the skimmer and return. If necessary, gently tighten the two to eliminate any leaks.

Above Ground Swimming Pools - Increasing Your Safety Factor

Above ground swimming pools all pretty much have one thing in common. That is that they effectively function to increase the danger factor in a backyard a thousand fold. You see, nothing is perhaps more enticing to a young child than a pool filled with water and the last thing they they want to see, is an adult to spoil all their fun.

Think That It Can't Happen To You?

At such a young age, they simply have no way of comprehending how dangerous it is to even so much as place a small paper boat in the water. Reach too far and it's all over in less than a minute. Think it can't happen to you? Well, you better think again because most all pools where drowning occur have one thing in common.

New Devices to Make Above Ground Pools Safer

That is that they tend to be devoid of safety mechanisms or have minimal safety measured at best. The real irony however, is that there are just so many new devices on the market now designed specifically for making pools safer and their price tags continue to decline as well.

Your Gate Is your First Line of Defense

Don't think that all safety devices are high tech though because one of the most important is your gate and its latch. Is it high enough out of reach of small children? Does it automatically engage properly when the gate spring pulls it shut? This is your first line of defense, so it should be working perfectly.

New Super Affordable Wireless Motion Sensors

On the high tech side, you may be more than a little bit surprised when you see how inexpensive amazing new high tech devices like wireless motion sensors have become. Wireless, of course means theres no need to run any wires. Thousands of people are using them now for protecting their above ground swimming pools

Does Size Really Matter With Above Ground Swimming Pools

The first real choice that you're going to have to make with regards to above ground swimming pools is the size you're going to buy. There really are so many choices when it comes to size and shape, so it can become difficult if you allow it to.

One great tip for you to consider is to look at the size of the family members who are going to be using it. You see if you have smaller children, you most likely may be better served by choosing a smaller, less expensive pool.

It's only natural that you as an adult would tend to gravitate towards a larger more elaborate pool set up because that's just how people are. Haven't we always heard that bigger is better? The deal here though is that you're dealing with a "body of water" and that does tend to change the rules a bit.

Smaller kids always prefer a smaller pool. One that they can stand up in and feel their feet on the bottom. Also try to understand that a pool that may seem very small to you, will seem much bigger to a smaller child.

Also a smaller more shallow pool is so much easier to warm up. Particularly if it's in the direct sun. Buy and use a solar pool cover and the pool gets even warmer. The smaller a child is, the easier they get chilled by colder water, so this is just one more thing to think about.

Price is also a huge consideration with smaller above ground swimming pools too. It's not just the pool its self that costs less but everything else (cover, chemicals etc.) comes cheaper as well. Also a smaller pool is so much easier and quicker to set up and fill too and also requires only a minimal amount of backyard space.

Different Types Of Pool Filters

Having an inground pool is one of the best things that anyone could have. While owning a pool will give you that cool down you need during the summer and help you to stay healthy by providing a serious work out regimen - it needs a great deal of maintenance. Taking care of pools is one of the hardest thing you will have to do to maintain it. If it is not completed properly you will spend more money than you will want to.

There are different things that are employed to help keep inground clean - but none is more essential and more useful than the pool filter. There are three distinct types of pool filters that include; cartridge filters, sand filters, and DE filters.

Cartridge Filters

Cartridge filters are produced employing a unique paper like cartridge. This is the easiest and the lowest priced filter that you can choose for preserving your pool. It works by forcing the water through the filter. As it travels through the paper like filter it will seize hold of the rubble. They range inbetween 100 to 300 sqft to ensure that they do not clog up rapidly and will last longer. Cartridge filters should be cleaned once or twice every season.

DE Filters

This particular filter utilizes diatomaceous earth. It has been built with plastic grids that lay over the fabric made from a plastic like substance. The diatomaceous earth is utilized to screen the grid and is what is used to filter the debris from the inground. DE has the ability to filter out smaller debris than sand filters.

Sand Filters

These sand filters use a unique type of graded sand. It operates by forcing the water through a tank as well as a diffuser. As the water travels through the sand it will work to grab hold of the debris. The water will continue through without the debris and proceed to the bottom of the filter before being delivered back into the pool.

Finding the right Swimming Pool Filter is essential to keeping your pool clean. Learn how to Backwash Pool Filters and keep them clean.

Steven's Outdoor Poolpark. Probably the largest swimming pool I have designed so far, this park features several separate pools and several different water slides. The park has a main swimming pool, a wave pool, a diving pool, and a double-decker indoor pool. I am quite pleased at how the entrance building came out, this building actually has two theme-park rides in it, as well as several shops, the changing rooms and the toilets. There is even a balcony where the peeps can sit and watch the swimmers. This time I have decided not to record the sound with the watersides, and used music instead. Do you think this was a good decision? Please let me know.

How to Clean a Sta-rite System 3 Cartridge Swimming Pool Filter

The Sta-Rite System 3 Cartridge Filter is an excellent swimming pool filter and will serve you well if you keep it maintained and cleaned properly throughout the year.

The Sta-Rite System 3 Modular Media Cartridge Filter comes in several different sizes – 300, 400, 450, and 500 square feet. The 300 sq. ft. filter is sufficient for most standard size swimming pools, but for pools over 20,000 gallons, the 450 or 500 sq. ft. filter would be recommended.

For most swimming pools with a Sta-Rite System 3 Cartridge Filter installed, cleaning the filter quarterly is sufficient. Follow these steps to clean a Sta-Rite System 3 Cartridge Filter.

Turn Off Pool Equipment - make sure you turn off the pool equipment. If possible, turn off the circuit breaker for the pool equipment so the filter will not come on while the filter is disassembled.

Relieve Filter Pressure - Open the air release valve on the top of the filter in order to relieve the pressure from the filter.

Drain the Filter - Remove the Filter Drain Plug from the bottom of the filter in order to allow the water to be completely drained from the filter.

Open the Filter - while the water in the filter is draining, remove the Posi-Lok clamps from the outside of the filter. You won't need to unscrew the clamps all the way… just enough to slide the Posi-Lok clamps up and off of the filter tank top.

Remove the Filter Top - once the water is completely drained from the filter and the Posi-Lok clamps have been removed, carefully remove the filter top and set it out of the way. Be careful not to damage the pressure guage and air release valve on the top of the filter tank top.

Remove the Filter Cartridges - carefully remove the filter cartridges one at a time by pulling straight up on the filter cartridge until they slide off the outlet tubes on the tank bottom.

Clean the Filter Cartridges - using a high-pressure hose attachment, thoroughly clean the filter cartridges removing as much debris as possible from the cartridges.

Clean out the Inside of the Filter - Spray out the inside of the tank bottom to remove any debris.

Clean the Air Bleed Strainer - Clean off and remove any debris from the air bleed strainer. The air bleed strainer is attached to the air bleed tube coming from the tank bottom.

Replace the Filter Cartridges - put the clean filter cartridges back into the tank bottom. Make sure the arrows on the top of the filter cartridges are aligned properly with the outlet tubes on the tank bottom. Make sure the air bleed tube comes up through the middle of the small cartridge.

Replace the Filter Top - carefully replace the filter top.

Close the Filter - replace all of the Posi-Lok clamps until tight. It might be necessary to gently hit the clamps with a rubber mallet in order to tighten the clamps enough to eliminate any leaks.

Replace the Filter Drain Plug - replace the filter drain plug. If necessary, use teflon tape to prevent leaking.

Test the Filter - with the air release valve on the top of the filter open, turn the filter on until a solid stream of water is shooting out of the air release valve.

Close the Air Release Valve - close the air release valve until there is no water being released.

That's It… Your Sta-Rite System 3 Cartridge Pool Fitler is Clean! - make a note of the filter pressure (psi) immediately after cleaning the filter for future use.
